Stabilizers are used for controlling the deviation and azimuth of the well while drilling.
When drill vertical hole, it can prevent the well from off-tracking, while drilling directional well, it can adjust and control the trend of the hole track.
At the same time, using stabilizers can increase the working stability of the drill bits and extend the service life of the drill bits.
Stabilizers are made from premium chrome molybdenese alloy steel (except for non-magnetic style), heat treated by special procedures and obtain expected hardness, strength and i***ct value properties.
All threads are made strictly in accordance with API Spec.
The hardbanding of stabilizer employ "pressed in" Tungsten Carbide alloy buttons, or other anti-wear materials.
It is made from AISI 4145H modified alloy steel, and completely meets the requirement of API Spec 7-1 and SY/T5051-91 Standard. It is mainly used to stabilize the drilling tools in the process of drilling hole. It can be separated into Drill String and Near bit types.
